In 1998 Lesh underwent a liver transplant as a result of chronic hepatitis C infection; since then, he has become an outspoken advocate for organ donor programs and when performing regularly encourages members of the audience to become organ donors (tracks identified as the "donor rap" on the live recordings of his various performances).

I appreciate the rap. But it kinda bums me because I know then the show is almost over, and of course I never want it to end. Touch of Grey was fantastic though. WOW what a show!

Really good show. It's just amazing how tight these guys are getting. Standouts include Unbroken Chain and the Other One. Strawberry Fields was also great. Glad to be there with y'all.

I haven't listened to evry show of this tour but if there's a better fractal brain salad surgery type show let me know because this one is the 'CATS ASS.'
