I believe this and Keep Your Lamps Trimmed and Burning were the only bust outs this tour.....?

which btw I know I heard that song before, any backround info on it? ..... im pretty sure I heard Terrisa sing it at Levon Helms Ramble to but I'm not sure - I know I heard it somewhere

Keep Your Lamps is best known as a Hot Tuna song. First released on their second album, First Pull Up, Then Pull Down, but it's been a part of their set list since the beginning.

Nice version by Jorma and David from 1985

FF67 Thanks so much for the stream, glad you had a blast. Are you trying to stream again tomorrow (not to be ungrateful )? It sounded pretty good and was much appreciated, I'm sure I don't speak for myself.

There looks to be a stream link for st. Louis show tonight. If u got to ustream and search Furthur and upcoming videos you can see a link for the fox show. If they don't end up streaming Sunshine or Kfender or anyone else who has my number can give me a text and I'll get a stream going for you. Plus I have tons of friends going tonight with smartphones so getting a stream the whole night should not be a problem.

I really don't mind streaming. It may seem it could take away from the experience but not for me! I was dancing and grooving all night long! Didn't stop me!

FurthurFlower, you're wonderful! You stream a show and then find us one for tonight, thanks so much!! Have a great time tonight, and I'll see you in Indy tomorrow!!

I believe this the guy that was referred to above: http://www.ustream.tv/user/dgold

glad to hear the positive reviews on the Black Muddy River, I wouldn't mind John singing it at all and switching verses would be cool to but really, I'm glad Bob sang it and I hope I get to see him sing it in the future as well.....

Welp they have ruined the final Jerry song the GD ever played. I am sorry, but this song is too sentimental to have Bob scat his way through. Not a fan.

I had a great time! The Golden Road start off was perfect for set one and China Cat for set two as well! Jack Straw was EPIC!!! That one hit me really hard. I swear at one point they played something from Anthem but I guess I was wrong and it was Gus, Herb, and fermented beverages messing with me, hehe. Unbroken Chain was also a real treat for me. I drank a bit too much and had to sit down for a couple songs during the second set(just danced sitting!) but after that I was fine. Great crowd, very positive and festive! Actually it was a bit beyond festive and somewhat zoo like but people seemed to be treating each other well. I was in row 20 of section 3 the whole time and at one point looked to my left and saw a naked dude about 4 seats down and one row up, that was a first for me at a show, haha! Bought the mega colorful Further tie dye tour shirt which I will wear with pride! I am so glad they chose to play Madison, to my knowledge only Ratdog has played here since the Jerry days although I could be wrong because I missed the first couple Other Ones tours. I hope they come back again but if not there is always Alpine and Rosemont. 2 or 3 nights at The Barrymore would rule but I doubt it would ever happen but at least we have DSO to rock that place once or twice a year

I swear a good quarter of the audience is online at any given time. Completely baffling to me. I average spending around $100 per show with tickets, gas, etc; and the last thing you'll find me doing is spending it staring at a phone (or making beer and piss runs). If I'm so easily distracted, I'll just stay home and keep out of the way of everyone else who works so hard to see the show. Two things in real short supply: consideration and gratitude.

Typing on a phone does seem a bit weird at a show but each to his/her own although I don't remember seeing many people using phones. Beer and piss is easy: buy 2 beers before the first set starts, piss once during a song you are sick of or not that into, piss again and get 1 or 2 more beers at set break, piss again during a song you are sick of or not that into or just hold your piss. The more influenced I am the more fun I have and the more mind blowing and life changing/improving the show is. Downside is the more influenced I am the less of the show I remember. Gotta find the right balance.

Since starting shows in the 80s, I haven't missed a single note (except walking out on Knocking on Heaven's Door as an encore). I also cannot imagine deciding on a time to take a break. I want to hear what they do with the songs I don't even want to hear. And the show is a novel, not a bunch of short stories. Skipping a chapter doesn't work for me.
