Nothing wrong with Bobby

#45022 3 years ago
I'm tired alot more now at 49 than I used to be at 21.
In fact it SEEMS that time is going faster than it used to.
weeks seem like days at a time.
Bob Weir gave us incredible energy through the years.
I savor all the electricity he produced.
Thank You Bob Weir!
Let the time progress in it's own condition.
We are lucky to have this scene again.
Savor and respect this you guys!
All my positive energy towards FURTHUR!!
Everytime that wheel turn round
bound to cover just a little more ground

I bet Bob is enjoying the rest of the Furthur tour a lot more without those solo shows on his mind and good for him, let the guy rest!

I'll still be there whenever they happen, don't care how long I gotta wait.

I am one who asked the question if he was feeling ok. I know some have given him a lot of shit, but my question of his lack of energy and song focus at times stemmed from concern. The northeast leg of the summer tour produced a 'different bob' in certain parts of each show. Sometimes I feel like I am 80!!! I am only 44 and will concur with you that my recovery time is doubled from what it used to be. After this Northeast jaunt, I am whipped!!!!

The question about Bob SHOULD and MUST generate from concern and not dumping on him as if he is purposely unfocused of tired.

^^^in some agreement with the above poster, i was also one after the initial statements/questions that put my two cents in...the only reason i even do so is for genuine concern...obviously we all want the best for everybody in the band...but to not be able to criticize at all is just crazy...us deadheads are some of the most opinionated people and it is hard not to critique we do a lot of compare/contrast...criticism is supposed to be taken constructively, especially in the music business...when someone isn't at their normal level, it is only natural to be of some concern..glad to hear he's stepping it up down south even more...follows my trend of bob getting better over time of the tours
