Can't compare Joe Russo and Jay Lane to Hart and Kreutz. I do love they way Joe pounds out Terrapin and Slipknot. He was outstanding on St. Stephen Sun. night. The man can flat out play the drums.

I too want to hear more improvisation for longer durations, but not anything to do with drums>space. No thank you. I'm thankful they don't have that fixed into the sets, and I'm also thankful they didn't replace Jay. No need for this band to have two drummers. Just. No. Need. I thought the show was one of the best ive seen in the recent past. They showed alot of energy and the mix was superb from where i was. It truley was a moment in time i will remember well.
