I gotta say the East Coast shows have been HOT so far, better players than the TXR regulars IMHO

With the exception of The Q.

Every lineup is different, and brings a different chemistry to the material. There have been exciting lineups at both venues,
but it's obvious as well, that Phil respects the Cap as a venue. And that brings out a better performance, I'm sure.
I can't come down, it's plain to see.
I can't come down, I've been set free.

It also seems that he's going with more experimental lineups for the East Coast. Taking a few more chances.

I agree. And I like it. And at TXR, the family is in the mix a lot more. And they have a fairly short list of regular players.
But, The Q, and the shows with Luther Dickinson, and Anders Osborne were all pretty damn good.
