I want to hear a GD style Rider with the huge drum crescendos like Mickey and Billy used to do
Ever since Jerry died they've went back to the old , country rock style a'la 1969-70 style
I miss my MIDI Dead !!

I miss that 90s sound too. They should put out a Dave's Picks from '93 or '94. That era gets a bad rap but at one point they had a Jam Of The Week that was the first set from a '94 Spectrum show. It sounded great to me.

I always hoped for a View from the Vault release from the Summer '93 tour.
The show featured a "Morphing Skeletons" loop on the big video screen that was just mind-blowing !
The effects were Hollywood worthy and deserve to be preserved forever !( and the music was pretty hot too !! )

I saw a couple really hot shows in 93. And I've always missed what the rhythm devils brought to the sound.
I can't come down, it's plain to see.
I can't come down, I've been set free.

That is one of the best transitions into Terrapin I've ever heard.
"Got any nails?"
"No!"
"Got any flies?"

The Giants Stadium show with the HCS opener and the Spectrum show with my only live Dark Star were the best for me out of (I believe) six that year. Saw an amazing Jerry Band show at the Garden too.

The fall Spectrum run was particularly noteworthy, speaking of Spectrum shows.

They did seem to like the venue.

That set was classic Phil and Warren. Time unaccounted for!
