Zipster, I wish you had stayed for JGB. That place was hot! Great show too. So glad I caught you before you left.

I actually did not know that show was happening and even if I did I was at the mercy of other folks and because I did not even have my tickets for last nights show until 6:30 PM making any plans would have been impossible, however having said all that I wish I had gone..and would have if I had known. damn it !!!

Wish I had known Digi-gal. I was in the same row. I thought the sound up there was a little loud.
But it probably made for a good recording. Can't wait to hear it.

Yes, it was loud and I wore my musicians ear plugs for the show. Listened to the entire recording on my drive home and loud PA certainly overpowered crowd, very nice!

I had a pair of foam earplugs with me, but didn't bring them into the show. I really didn't expect that.
But I'm bringing them from now on. My ears were still ringing when I got home last night.
I can't come down, it's plain to see.
I can't come down, I've been set free.
Who you are, and what you do,
don't make no difference to me.

I gotta say, its dissapointing to have FFF at shows and not get a stream. Not trying to call anyone out but, is there a reason some of us arent trying to hook up the rest of the crew? Grateful and thankful for all and any streams, but it justvseems weird. If zman is not in Atl, i am glad to stream what i can for you folks!

I realize you're not calling anyone out but for me it's called password protected wi-fi, I'll gladly stream when I can get on a good wi-fi network though my priority will always be for the high resolution recording. If someone has a personal wi-fi hotspot to share at a show it would certainly help to get a stream out. I have a basic cell phone myself and it is turned off completely during a show so it doesn't contribute to unwanted noises during a performance/recording. Many cell phones can cause an electronic interference called GSM noise that is not kind to recording and simply putting them in silent mode does not prevent this type of electronic interference.

Back in the day folks waited for physical tapes to surface and contributed in sharing them, waiting for LMA really shouldn't look so bad in that realm. It's a time consuming and passionate process to edit, track out, master and post a recording. Time is precious though and I generally like to get a recording up within a week or else it ends up in a recording backlog that I'll get to eventually. When I hear lots of show talkers on a recording to put it politely I'm less enthused to even listen much less work on sharing a recording, revisiting tortuous chatter is not fun. Microphones pick up so much more than lotsa folks think and I have a low tolerance when it comes to listening over and over to the personal conversations that occur all too often during a performance. Microphones have a very wide dynamic range, when folks talk loud enough for the person next to them to hear them over the performance and they're near microphones the conversation is no longer private!

I'm looking forward to working on and sharing my Buffalo recording and hope to have it up on LMA within a week.

I hear what you are saying, but it seems far away from what i said. I have enjoyed and hope to enjoy more of your recordings, many thanks! Th ability to be live at home has changed he game though. I realize we wont get all shows, i guess im just getting very spoiled!
If that jubilee don't come, maybe I'll meet you, on the run
