Not exactly what I expected for the subject matter of my first post...
But after that acoustic set, I swear the entire band came out for the electric set stoned out of their minds. You could see it in all their eyes, Bobby included. There were quite a few little flubs until they found a rhythm.
I still loved the show, along with the tried-and-true acoustic opener, Twilight Time and the classic Dark Star > El Paso in the electric set.
For some reason, I found the Captain Trips button on Bobby's guitar strap to be awesome beyond words.-

bar bands... next we're going to have to put chicken wire up, so when we throw our beer bottles, we don't hit the stage...
it's a cryin' shame, really. jeezuz-h-christ, I mean, one would think we could be classier. but obviously, "we" are not. so, we're going to have to have "bar rules" like priorities: stage 1st, bar 2nd. just like a movie theatre, 3 strikes yer escorted out. -
