I love that Bobby is rocking a Captain Trips button on his guitar strap.

sounds great!

That's mine! I have been trying to get it on Etree but I can't get the seed to load, so I loaded it to Archive and someone set up the torrent:

Thanks.....the venue did all the work, i just held the recorder!

I have most of Jon Wilson's set, which I'm just now working on. I had a technical flub with the recorder where I missed the first maybe 20-30 seconds of the first song. I was hoping I could the etree thing sorted out then post Wilson's set (as Weir is on the last perhaps 2 minutes of the final song) but until that happens, I'll probably just upload Wilson to Archive adn let those guys run the torrent if they like.

i wasn't wild about the setlist (did you see the Santa Fe set? holy crap!) but the performance was fun and the venue so intimate it was a blast. i have to say though, kinda a bit of a letdown that perhaps the most jammed out song was "Easy Answers" which, come on now, is no one's favorite GD/Bob song. the guys in front of me, when Bob played the opening riff which I instantly recognized, the guy says to his friend, with the "are you freaking KIDDING me?" intonation to his voice, "easy answers?" ha.

you can also hear me laughing at the start of Desolation. before the show started, I'd mentioned to the gal next to me that I caught the December show in Phoenix. the guy turned around and he's like, "i missed that but heard some good things, what did you think?" i told him it was pretty cool but soem of the song choices were just the wrong format as Bob was at times unable to carry the song by himself. I said, "like 'Desolation Row', it was about 15 minutes long and 15 minutes of Bob just chopping away at the guitar.....you knwo what I mean?"

so when Bob sings the opening line, the guy turns around and looks at me, and you hear me saying, "i know!" and then I laugh.

good times.
