So I was lucky enough to get in to Thursdays show. Man, what an amazing venue with great sound. Even better in person then on these wonderful streams. Smaller then I had pictured, which was even better.

Staff was very friendly. Food was delicous. I am not a fan typically of creative cooking but this was great stuff. The sweet potato hash browns were very yummy and the short ribs were as soft as butter. So popular in fact that they could barely keep that tray filled.

Sound was great, and LOUD. Loudest I have heard Furthur play. My ears were ringing for most of the set break. But it was a good ring. LOL.

Crowd was cool, though some really interesting people. One would think that all the freaks that show up for regular shows would take that cake, yet those folks are usually really fun. The strange ones last night had $250 jeans on.

Finally the music. Pretty darn good. The band seems really tight and played with a lot of energy from right out of the gate with Stranger. From there my 1st set favorite was Watchtower.

2nd set was smokin too, highlighted by an absolutely incredible Eyes. Both Jeff and John really outdid themselves on this one. Just amazing. Cant wait for tonight......

Thanks for another beautiful thread, Bill!! I think I've finally woken up after last night, and I'm ready to go! Glad it's going to start earlier, hopefully with a Jack Straw opener.

There's actually a Dubois poster that they're selling at the Sweetwater for these shows. I have to run out and get something to eat before the evening gets under way but I did see a few up on Ebay today.
