Great show, thanks to Taper Rob again for bringing such a good quality stream last night! Great show yet again, thought I was getting short changed when the 2nd set was going l;ate but then I realized that was all. Looks like Sunday night 3 set show was experimental and maybe that format got canned? My thoughts.

So this Stanley Jordan fellow is not only brilliant at jazz and space stuff, he can also flat out rock! What a wonderful two shows, with one more coming tonight. Having him play with friends has been a big treat. IMHO these shows have been some of the best of the best. If I was just looking at the first set on paper, it would not do all that much for me. Despite playing all Jerry tunes, there are songs that I like better. Having Stanley J there changed all of that. The man knows how to listen to the other musicians and has moments where he just flourished and adds so much. What a special treat. Set 2 was just all there and then some. What a fun tour. Wish all of my FFF friends were here. At least Taper Rob has been helping out for you couch tour tourists.

Thanks for the review Dave. Pretty much feeling the same way. A fairly ordinary setlist, made extraordinary by the talent
that brought the music to life. It sounded really magical. Glad you are enjoying yourself! I've been loving the couch tour.
I can't come down, it's plain to see.

A couple of thoughts about the set list.
First, background.
One, I saw the first show in NJ w/o Jordan.
Two, I think Jackie Greene brings an incredible element to this band.
Three, I've downloaded the first four shows and will download last night's as soon as I can.
With that out of the way, my comment is that the set list almost doesn't matter. These guys are playing on such a high level and are turning in suh cool renditions of these songs -- Ship of Fools the other night was sick -- that they could take almost any Dead or other song and I'd be pumped to hear it.
The ONLY song in the first four shows that really didn't do it for me was Stella Blue, and I really never love that tune anyway.
CANNOT WAIT FOR TONIGHT. Will be there in an old school Patriots hat in case any of you clowns sees me and wants to say hello!-
