first, let me say that this is the setlists i'd like them to play, NOT what i think they'll play. considering the bands recent penchance for returning to what i consider very formulaic style setlists reminescent of the gd in latter years (and the overemphasis (imho) on bobby tunes this tour), i highly doubt i'll be getting any points outta this one; but then again, the fun is in the playing, not the winning. right? with that being said, my closing nite setlist wishlist as follows:
1st set Opener: alabama getaway (just a rockin way to kick off a nite of "jerry tunes")
1st set Wild card: to lay me down (please Please PLEASE let john sing this lovely balad)
1st set Closer: til the morning comes (love this tune and they do a splendid job of it, sadly missing thus far on the fall tour)
2nd set Opener: breathe (what a cryptic/poignant way to open the set (and the "third eye") this would be)
2nd set Wild card: friend of the devil
2nd set Closer: breathe reprise (what a fantabulous way to open/close the second set this would be!)
