We kinda figured we should tell our folks and immediate family first. We also didn't want all the attention on us. We still haven't told our families, but when I read fedmans post I just needed to say something.
It was really nice meeting you finally, as well as many other new people, and reconnecting with others I've met previously. I can't wait to hook up with the flag and the FFF again ASAPStanding on the moon with nothing left to do

Thanks Chester. I couldn't think of a more magical place. I actually had the ring at the Beacon, but it HAD to be during SOTM. I'm just happy they played it last night. Not sure what I woulda done if they didn't.Standing on the moon with nothing left to do

That was my dad recording. We always hit shows together!
I had no idea what was going on.... and he told me after what happened. He said he felt bad he missed the beginning of the proposal because he didn't realize what you were doing haha.
What a cool proposal idea, and great song pick to propose...-

Please thank your dad for us. Now he's no longer a random guy that sat behind us who was nice enough to let us disturb him during what might have been a magical moment for him too ( not necessarily the proposal, but what if he came to bethel just to hear SOTM, and some jerk in front of him puts him in an awkward position by asking him 2 film 2 strangers). I thought about it afterwards and was hoping that I wasn't imposing. I wouldn't have had to if it wasn't for my buddies terrible timing.

Wow......Congrats. Last night was a perfect night to get engaged.
What a show. What weekend. What band. What a community. I traveled from Seattle to NYC all by myself, yet was never alone for one second. So many great new friends met. Thank you!!!!!
