Leading up to this show, we were all expecting a huge celebration for Phil's birthday (including side 2 of Abbey Road) but with the recent passing of Owlsey "Bear" Stanley, one can only help but think that this might be the 2nd tuesday in a row where Furthur pays tribute to a fallen angel (last Tuesday was Pigpen's anniversary).

There are a lot of HEAVY feelings in the air from both extremes of the emotional spectrum. I feel a very very special show on the way.

chill on the Trey. I'd rather see Sir Paul hop up there. But more likely is the love birds I love - Larry & Teresa. While I agree the mood is low from the passing, Sunday was for Bear I feel. The Death Don't, Franklins & Attics in particular.

Either way, I'm stoked for everyone at the show

Paul would be amazing, but Trey lives in NYC and has played many times with phil, so it seems more likely. Sorry if that upsets anyone.
