IMHO, magnificent show and Layla was the highlight.

"No!"

Ha! Maybe I was hearing him bang and tease Layla and not Hendrix at all. Layla into Mason's? It could work.

No, I think he was playing Hendrix, just don't know what song.

I could have sworn they were going into Foxey Lady!

This whole weekend was Philled with surprises, almost every song had some insane jam before or during it. I still just cannot believe what I witnessed.
I went walkin' out last summer
Tryin' to find a breath of air
I went walkin' on the mountain
A friend had told me I'd find you there

OK back from work. As for last nights show; Layla was wonderful, as was Cold Rain & Snow. The whole show was all there IMHO. Warren was wonderful. John Schofield is a wild guitarist. He seems to be able to get lost then work his way back in the most creative of ways. Jackie G also contributed. All of the guitar playin was driven, gritty and soulful. Russo and Jeff contribute more then there fair share. The bass player ain't to shabby either. This may sound like heresy on this site, none the less: More Phil & Phriends!
