I just heard the first song released from the up coming album from Lou Reed and Metallica , man does it suck.

It's Lou. I kind of like it, but I need to give it another listen to catch what the lyrics are all about. Lou has always been more about poetry than music.

I've been a big Metallica fan since the mid 80's, got all their stuff on vinyl of course and also have been a big Lou/Velvets fan too. Saw Metallica in 88 in Hamilton and 98 In Vancouver. Some of Lou's solo shit is hard to take, but it's meant to be that way so you have to appreciate it. I saw the Velvet's in 1993 in Strasbourg France open for U2.

Just awful. Love Lou Reed but of course he's been inconsistent throughout his career to put it mildly!

Love Metallica's first three albums but they lost me after that. Justice has the potential to be a great album but there's a lot of filler and there aren't many albums out there that sound worse than that, no bass, horrible drum triggers (Lars needs all the help he can get, terrible drummer.) Still, I always hold out hope for a return to form!
