I'd forgotten they were touring. Anybody see them yet?

They'll probably play Philly or certainly NY in the fall, so one way or another I'll see them. Read a stellar review for one of their West Coast shows in a recent Rolling Stone.

saw them at the Fox jun2nd. they put on a good show & did Broken Arrow suite with steven on piano. i was impressed with richie he still has a great voice. neil of course was neil and kinda stole the show but everyone was cool with that. i'd go and see them again, hopefully they will hit seattle or vancouver, or maybe the island....Victoria

I would love to see them, anybody hear of Springfield playing around upstate NY?

From Richie Furay's Facebook page, posted 6/29 at 7pm:

"For those of you getting excited about the Buffalo Springfield fall tour - word has just come to me that it has been moved to the first of next year. I'm not going to spend a lot time here with details as you speculate among yourselves - there's nothing to speculate about, the tour has simply been moved."

Haven't found any news beyond that. If I had to guess, Neil's being his infamously unreliable old self again (I love the guy, but he's a weird human being sometimes). Just a guess though.

Maybe it's the old friction between Neil and Stills. The first time I saw either one of them was the Stills-Young tour in '76. It was booked as a full-length major tour but Neil only played something like six dates before jumping ship.

Then again, maybe they just want to put a live album together so they'll have some product to tour behind.

i caught both shows at the Fox in Oakland. great shows, but very pricey. i'm glad i went, but i probably wouldn't kick down that much coin to see them again.
