Homeboy Lou Gramm (he is from Rochester and has stayed here pretty much all his life) and the Lou Gramm Band at the Rochester International Jazz Fest tonight for a free outdoor show. What's Lou got to do with jazz? Not much, but a nice sax solo on "Urgent" was kind of close. Basically a Foreigner Greatest Hits singalong show, huge crowd at the corner of East and Chestnut. A little Spinal-Tappish with the inflatable juke box for Juke Box Hero, but that's a minor complaint. Lou, you did us proud.
I leave it to someone else to start a Summer Show thread.
