So I know that the boys might not need the break, and that there is only one drummer, and that alot of us are more interested in the tunes at this point, but I for one would love to hear furthur experiment with a free form musical/sonic interlude like the Dead did with space. Technology has gotten so much better and we could have some real fun with that.

What do you all think?

Yeah. And I think they're working up to it. And would love to see some drum solo stuff.

My personal preference is to continue without the Drums / Space, but I do miss the formal 420 break. After so many shows I really don't miss it too much --- it's the songs that really get me going. I also do not bleak so my perspective may be different from other heads.

some space would be okay but not the extended drums always felt so predictable after many shows,IMO

Let Joe stretch out a bit. But not like the drums segment from the past. It would be nice to work a little percussion break,
into a very spacey jam. Like I said, I think they are headed in that direction anyway. Lets see where they take us.

Yeah I think it makes good sense to keep it short and tasteful, since it's more about the music now.

..and its an absolutely mind-ripping show. LOVED having that sense of anticipation.. how will this show unfold?

Listen to Victim, where at the end it takes a SERIOUS right turn into oh-sh*t-hold-on-to-your-seats-ville. For me at least.

But think of the mindblowing stuff that could be worked in now, if you got the right creative partners at the switches.

Would be a great spice to da mix.
