favorite band to listen to currently absolutely. have been for the past 4 years. however to say they are my favorite band of all time? idk if i can do that. To be fair 8th grade was a weird time for me. If it was not for the Ramones i dont think i would have ever got into music. i know every ramones song although i dont listen to them frequently anymore, whenever one comes on i get pumped. so i have come to the decision:

Favorite Current Band : Furthur
Favorite Classic Band to listen to : The Grateful Dead
Favorite Band of All Time : The Ramones.

My wife used to say it's a cult. Although it may come close to some (lol), GD music will always be a part of me, but is not quite an obsession. Well maybe, 90% of what I play on guitar is GD. My tastes have changed over the years. Much into Jamgrass, bluegrass, outlaw fucking country, and lots if rootd music on the scene, plus some classic mindbending music from years past. Obsessed? No. Is Furthur my favorite band? Bob and Phil are still at it and keeping it fresh. As long as they enjoy it, so will I!

I listen to other stuff, but mostly GD and other incarnations, pre and post 95' - you really can't get tired of it IMO, theres just so much.....
