watched Head a few days ago, very interesting, paired it with Mondo Hollywood. the monkees are as most things, many layers & textures.

I saw the Monkees at Six flags amusement park in the seventies. It was a good show although it was not all four of them. I have been a fan since i was a kid.

I'd go to this but the Philly area date is the same night as Neil and Crazy Horse. Wife and I are hoping this tour might hit a casino in AC.

Actually I think the Monkees and the Buffalo Springfield did cross paths at some point in the mid 60s.

i was talking to a singer songwriter recently who lived, worked and performed in LA during that era. he had a lot of good stories working with Sonny & Cher, John Phillips, Linda Ronstadt etc. he told a story of how Ry Cooder and Neil played on a Monkees session, and apparently Ry didn't care for Neil too much as a player.

Well, Neil is unconventional, to say the least!
