Interesting. Wasn't sure they would get together again, after Davy passed. This actually looks pretty cool.
I guess Michael hasn't played with the other guys in 15 years. Thanks for posting.
I can't come down, it's plain to see.
I can't come down, I've been set free.
Who you are, and what you do,
don't make no difference to me.-

I'd go to this but the Philly area date is the same night as Neil and Crazy Horse. Wife and I are hoping this tour might hit a casino in AC.
that's understandable.....maybe a Monkee Parts the Horse's Mane (Tai Chi-style) jam session when both are in town. I think Neil'd be into that.-

Actually I think the Monkees and the Buffalo Springfield did cross paths at some point in the mid 60s.
i'd read some where that Stills auditioned but didn't make the cut because of his teeth. i saw a documentary about 3 guys who also auditioned...Rodney Bingenheimer, Bryan Maclean (from Love), and another i can't remember--i think he was a peripheral manson family dude. the documentary was kind of about that time in LA and the emerging music biz, can't remember the title but'll come to me.
i was talking to a singer songwriter recently who lived, worked and performed in LA during that era. he had a lot of good stories working with Sonny & Cher, John Phillips, Linda Ronstadt etc. he told a story of how Ry Cooder and Neil played on a Monkees session, and apparently Ry didn't care for Neil too much as a player.-

Well, Neil is unconventional, to say the least!
yeah he is. broke the bank, cashed in pop bottles, etc gonna see Neil in the fall. i would love to have a sit down with him talk about Omemee, Winterpeg, Razzy 'n' Scott, Topanga Canyon--the Corral, LincVolts and whatnot, The Mynah Birds, and of course Moodie's Motorcourt in Pickering.....my dad still insisting he used to give Neil rides into the city. -
