Why why why do you have to play at the stupid Fillmore????

I saw them in 2D at the last gathering of the vibes and they were a lot of fun. The music was a tad dark and eerie, but myself and thousands of others had a blast at their performance.

And there were no pig masks on stage, but several people in the audience were sporting them.

It's my understanding that Les Claypool of Primus used to drop acid pretty frequently, but he really enjoyed the weirder and sometimes darker sides of some trips, his music really reflects it. I always viewed them as a modern day dark-psychedelic jam band haha

Saw them a couple months back and they aside from a short set due to Fishbone opening, they blew me away. I have never heard a bass guitar so prominent in the mix as Les' and the guitar player Ler is out of this world, one of the best for sure. I could have sworn it looked pretty 3d when I saw it but it could have been the party favors. I will definitely catch this when it comes out West

I can see how people can think their music is kinda dark. I just think of it as bass heavy!

Primus is a band of my high school days. I say that like it was many moons ago lol. But they rolled though last summer and I just had to go check them out. It was my first time seeing them live. I own all their live DVDs and really dreamed to see them live. I was very impressed. A lot of their newer stuff is very jammy and psychedelic. I was surprised. A lot of their older die heart fans from the early 90's were not as impressed with their new stuff. But Les Claypool is crazy good on the bass! He plays so fast my eyes go crazy just trying to keep up! Love him!

I was never a Big Primus fan till I saw em at Vibes 2010 and they blew me away, my jaw was on the ground, this year they were great too...I already got my tix for the Kirby show its only 10 mins from my appt. i got 12 row floor on the left, great lil place to see a show, good sound, I was a few shows there the best being Ratdog 08, Bob solo 12, mule in 05 (maybe)...I cant wait for this show, i would like to make the philly show too if the fund allow me too
