I happen to literally stumble across this, but Dave Matthews is playing in Bethel on June 30th.

I was not planning on attending but as fate would have it I will also be in the area.

You will enjoy DMB if you've never been. Wifey and I have seen them every summer since 2004 in Tampa (except last year, they didn't tour, just a few festivals). We are seeing them in Tampa on 7/18 and staying at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino for some gambling afterward. Its just across the street a bit from the Amphitheater. I suck at gambling btw.

I hung out with some of the DMB fans at the farm the day after the show. Most people were really nice, environmentally friendly, etc. They left just one trashed campsite with garbage, etc. But that happens at furhtur shows too, no matter how hard we try to prevent it from happening.

A lot of them said they were also coming back for Furhtur, and they were not all locals.

Maybe next time I'll check out the band The recorded stuff sounded pretty good...but I don;t know about a 3 hour show. I suppose I have to give him a chance.
