We need Mickey back in NC. I promise I'll make it this time

Mickey Hart Band's show Aug.17th @ The "Stone Pony", Asbury Park N.J. is a venue I've never been to.
If anyone has been here before, could you please give me some "Heads-UP" info on box-office ticket purchase, close-by hotels etc. I know this venue sells-out quickly so I'd like to try 2 different ways to get our 4 tickets.

But since this show is not part of a bigger festival it makes it easy for me and our Dedicated group 3 other leukemia survivors to make plans to attend. As much fun as the whole outdoor, big lot, camp scene is, I have to just settle for a stand-alone gigs with zero sun exposure. Thanks !

I've never been to the Stone Pony. Just curious as to where you found the info on that show?

My mistake Chester about the Stone Pony. I confused the 2012 tour dates with the 2013. So my "Ship of Fools" will have this show on our radar for August. MHB is a very therapeutic experience. I'll contact the theater for the general info I need. Thanks

The first set was fantastic but Mickey lost me a bit in the 2nd set....I was super tired so I partially chalk it up to that. I do wish they would play more of their own stuff and less Grateful Dead tunes.
