Beach Boys

Don't know how y'all feel about this but I know they played with the Dead sometimes back in the day and they were the FIRST concert I ever saw back when I was a wee tike in the '80's. This is gonna be great! New labum, huge tour, and everybody is being friendly with each other. 2012 just got even better. Furthur tour, Tool Tours, and now Beach Boys! Where's Bowie!!!??

I'm so excited for this. My only hope is that tickets are reasonable as this is going to be really special and why I have waited all these years without seeing the Mike Love Band. The real Beach Boys or what's left of them with their mastermind Brian on stage, Help Me Ronda!

Dire, the Beach Boys were my first concert too! My parents are into 50's oldies, so I never got classic rock influence from them, but I'm pretty pleased with who they took me to see for my first concert.

They Rock ! Love the bass and percusion . Very good studio recording band too. "furthur" should play Around and around > Surfin USA. "You know they never stopped rockin, goin round and round."...."If everybody had an ocean, cross the USA, then everybodyd be surfin, like CaliforniA..." same chord progression. Sorry, im a musician, i hear these things pretty damn good.

I saw them play on the mall in Wasihngton DC on the fouth of july, for several years in a row, back in the early 80's.
I would go see them if they were performimg nearby.
I can't come down, it's plain to see.
I can't come down, I've been set free.
Who you are, and what you do,
don't make no difference to me.

I was subjected to Pet Sounds on loop for the entirety of a 13 hour ride from Newhaven, CT. to Asheville, NC. And one Van Morrison CD all the way back

What a spring!

I will most likely see one if they come close

Indeed! Not to mention the fact that I was already rather extra dimensional at the time as it was, Not sure if I was the victim of an attempted brain wash or of a sinister plot to make me a better person
