Depending on Alex, if he decides no go then YES, Count me in, this location is worth EVERY PENNY as we can split it up and make for a great time and I bet the band minus Bob and Phil stay there which makes the energy EVEN BETTER!

From my understanding the lack of shakedown results from big city with no surface parking lots, combined with a strong police presence busting tokers and unlicensed street vendors. Remember, the cops are always dealing with street vendors in NYC, not just with Furthur tour. You'd think they have better things to do.

We have our own Shakedown happening Strider1 but I know the cops there suck ass. I saw first hand in March when i snuck out for a toke between sets and the guy next to me got bothered by the cops for toking. I get the whole street vendor issue there so I get it but the harrassment by some of the Blue there is stupid. At one time there was a parking deck somewhere by MSG that had a pretty decent Shakedown but thats going back to the GD.

I'm still trying to figure out how we could do even 3 or 4 shows for less than the cost of a week on a reef!

between tickets and the "cheapest" hotels close to the venue the cost is about $2,600 (if you don't split the hotel costs). add in $$$ for food and entertaiment for 10 days (or more) and that adds up to a lot of coin. yikes!
