you guys aren't listing (reasons WHY) the venues you suggest are good...
1.like accessability
2.geographical area. i.e..areas where there's a strong following
3.Dead friendly venues
4.nearby food/lodging accomidations
5.potential areas nearby to visit. sight-seeing

Ive listed all of the above....

How about city island in harrisburg, pa

Not sure they do ANY type of shows there any more... or if they do, their promotion/publicity is awful.

Yeah you are probably correct, they have the minor league baseball team.

How about a outdoor show at Lake Tahoe. I know there are a couple venues there, maybe a ski resort or I think Harrah's has a pretty good size venue in South LT

No better place to see a show in the country. Hope they play there on the west coast leg

I don't know if Buckeye Lake is still open. They have shows every now and then, but not like in the past.

Am I the only one who thinks the Gorge is WAY overrated? The views are awesome to be sure, but:
it's in the middle of NOWHERE
the vending/concessions SUCK
the lawns are too steep and far from stage
It's a hard to get around venue
