I just spoke with the nurses station. Mack is doing Ok and did receive the transplant.

I just talked to Mack!

He is exhausted and in a lot of pain, (no kidding) but his voice sounds really strong. He's really together, considering.

His Doc ordered dinner "cause he is doing so well- probably broth, but it's something.

Mack sends his love to everybody here.

He was starting to fade after a coupla minutes, so I promised I wouldn't call again until tomorrow dinnertime.
WOW! It's real, it's done, and he's up and speaking already

cross-post from yesterday on the PhilZone. It was great talking with him, more than you can imagine:

Ha ha ha and oh my! I just talked with Mack!

He really is making progress. He took a walk down the hall today and he's doing well.

He's meeting the benchmarks they've set for him. I mean, he's really doing well!

He's feeling our love; it pours over him, he feels held.

He's going to watch the Masters this evening while he listens to music and shuts out the noisy world of the hospital.

He loves every one of you!

Freedom! He feels like he's gotten 10 years of his life back and he's free!

How is Mack doing now?

I read yesterday has has pneumonia but will get better, non transplant issue, and recovery is on schedule.
