Oh Sue baby, that was a priceless update of a blast from the past! I remember when that song was new. For years a local FM station ran a fundraiser every Thanksgiving for The Food Bank of NC where, for donations they would play requests. Alice's Restaurant was always the big $$$ tune and the highlight of the day.

I want to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow members of the Group W Bench, and I got just one question: have you rehabilitated yourselves?
Thank You Cody, we are forever Grateful!

For many years one of the FM rock stations in Philly would play Alice's Restaurant on Thanksgiving. Thanks for the reminder, I'd kind of forgotten about that. When I was a teenager it was a sure sign that the holidays were here.

If you like the original checkout the new one called Alice's restaurant revisited. Don't know if it still fits in that missing tapes gap of the Nixon tapes though! I've been to this restaurant as well
