This is one of my favorite shows also. History making venue, EPIC Sugaree, open floor all made this show one I'll never forget. I recorded this show about 25' from the stage DEAD center. Tape came out better than soundboard.

During the first set we were on the floor too. Just about center-ice, Jerry's side, dance with a super cool n friendly bikers from NY State and Canada. During Set 2 we never made it off the circular wide-open hallway. Sweet view of the band at every portal, sound was crushing (of course).
WE danced hard, WE drank hard and learned all about the NYbottle deposit for a case of beer @ 2am. And Thank You Holiday Inn of for letting us crash in your lobby while waiting for an early check-in day-of show.

I have the dicks pick of this show and I was not that impressed with it. Anyone know what the problems with bass as noted in the liner notes? Was phil not well that day or something?
