Fuck yes! I saw them at the local bar, the Thunderbrid, last year. Freaking amazing, just amazing show.

Makes sense. A key member of NRPS opening for two key members of the Dead.

It would be great but only if it didn't shorten the sets Furthur plays......

No opener, please and thank you. Unless we are talking summer shows that start early enough to account for a full Furthur set.

I'll just take a long 2 set Furthur show and then go see DNB some other time , Thanks !

DNB would most likely only complement...a test show in the early fall, Northern California, would be nice. Its a nice idea, but i am very happy with the flow whether or not that comes together...I am going to Wavy's B day party to see a dream lineup come true there.

Love these guys ---spent NYE with them and the 7 walkers... have caught em several times they absolutely rock... opened up with my all time fave Stones tune Dead Flowers on NYE.... perhaps Further should be opening for them!!!! J/K sort of...

Yeah, then they can all do Viola Lee Blues together. I saw Moonalice open for DNB when Jack Cassady and GE Smith were still with Moonalice, and the first song DNB did was Viola Lee with Moonalice sitting in. It was awesome. I also saw the Levon Helm band do Viola Lee last year. I guess it's like our circle's version of St. James Infirmary, one of the most recorded tunes ever. Everyone knows how to play it, so it's perfect for sitting in.
