They should record the studio album live at TRI and broadcast it while they do it.
One take, all new songs, entire band in front of live internet audience.

read about the history of the grateful dead and their experiences recording then ask yourself why they aren't running to a studio. i know it's not the 60's or the 70's or anything but the present, but there is a reason they weren't a studio album band. you simply cannot create and capture the magic on the spot. i don't think that they are going to do anything cooler on a studio album as opposed to just introducing the songs live like always and working them out. just my personal opinion. i wouldn't be opposed to an album i just don't see the need for it.
