More or less in line

Re: Jeff and Sunshine; am I missing something?

I was going to say, I can hear Sunshine more than Jeff, but yeah, her voice is more noticeable.
I think they really fill out the sound. Some songs more than others.
I can't come down, it's plain to see.
I can't come down, I've been set free.

listen to "eclipse" from RCMH

AND TIME

Perhaps I am going deaf!!!! hahah.

What I mean is do they add something to the band that I am missing? Would they sound any different without them? I see them rolling their arms and clapping......

listen to the shows from 2009, before they were using the backup singers, it's different...i didn't mind it but when they added the backup singers i noticed how much more round the vocals sounded, the best of any incarnation of these bands i've seen

I did not see any shows in 2009. I will given them a listen. I am not saying anything bad about them, just wondered what they provided. Could I be blocking it out because of my 'Donna Phobia?' lol

I personally love sunshine and Jeff. For me it adds lots of depth in wheel and other songs as time and eclipse that they probably wouldn't try without them . Furthur is a young group and are still figuring out what else they can do. I vote keep them. (like my vote counts)

They're perfect. Just listen.
Upfront when you need 'em, in the background when you don't.
Much fuller and richer sound with their addition.
Takin' it in stride!

listen to attics. What was once jagged and felt like a sliver of broken glass ripping open one's chest is now a pillow of grace soothing my soul.

I think Jeff and Sunshine are expert improvisational singers, that's why Furthur got them. They blend in seamlessly.
Everytime that wheel turn round

I agree about Jeff, but he blends in, BUT Sunshine can really sing, She's knows her place, which is to smooth things out and provide some pretty harmonies, which she is doing very well these days. She really has amazing voice.

i have always been intrigued by sunshine, her voice, her beautiful face, but beyond that the energy she brings and the aura that surrounds her, she is glowing...sometimes a little shy and early on cue, but man, i love what she brings to the table
who else is gonna bring you, a broken arrow?
