Am I missing their role in the band? I cannot tell when they are singing.

Perhaps I am going deaf!!!! hahah.

What I mean is do they add something to the band that I am missing? Would they sound any different without them? I see them rolling their arms and clapping......

They don't sing on every song. Sunshine's voice is more noticeable because she's the only female vocalist. They add A LOT to the overall sound of the band, but I would prefer two female backup vocalists.

listen to the shows from 2009, before they were using the backup singers, it's different...i didn't mind it but when they added the backup singers i noticed how much more round the vocals sounded, the best of any incarnation of these bands i've seen

that is what they originally had in the spring of 2010, sunshine and a woman named zoe ellis, she sang higher too it was pretty sweet, but i believe she got pregnant and left, and they reeled in jeff
