Wait for the autopsy before speculation. What we do know is this. Drugs effect individuals differently. Perhaps genetics are a good part of it. Fine example was a roomate of mine in college full blooded Chippewa indian from the Dakotas. We would drink a similar amount of alcohol and I would be buzzed yet he would be completely shit-faced. People react differently. At a young age with little experience a person is just developing and learning his tolerances.

Internet heresy. This one has sources.

Very well written. Actually made me LOL for real! Well worth the few bucks for someone who seems as interested in the subject as you do.

Oh and I'm sure you read the thread by a friend of the kid who died. Sounds like psilly fungus was not to blame so don't worry about the mushies rep...they're solid.

This whole situation has been tough though. It's awful that "Joey" (as his friend called him) was in so much pain an obviously suffering so much. Now that pain has been passed on and is being felt by all of us who love this community as much as he did, but especially by his family and friends like the one who posted here. I'm sure he was a great person. I just wish he could have held onto a little glimmer of hope to help see him through this dark period. Sad.

It takes Native Americans llivers longer to metaboloze alcohol. You may have pissed out some alcohol and your friend was still feeling the effects because it takes longer to get it out of his body

I'll have to check out that book and yea I saw the other thread, I hope he didn't think I was one of the inconsiderate people he was talking about...

I actually never looked into the history of them much, I just did a quick search after I read your thread. I think in the begining of your post you said suttin about them not being to powerful (sorry if I'm wrong) which I'm not sure I can agree with that one, lol. If you do enouph, you can get pretty out of your mind and this is just reefering to Cubes, might take a half oz or more after not doing them for a while though. You do know Cubes are not only the most common on the street but also one of the least potent psilocybin mushrooms in the world but obviously you were reefering to street mushrooms which are probably 99.999% Cubes.....

Yeah exactly. That's why I said P. cubensis isn't very potent. Compared to Azurenscens, semilanceata, cyanescens etc they are weak. WTF board is this anyway? LOL.
