On the border of 200 songs for the tour...

#6957 3 years ago
Kudos to the band (and Jill and Matt also) for keeping things fresh. Always one item of many that keeps me personally coming back for more.

With Gimme Some Lovin' appearing last night, the next song to debut for the tour will be the 200th. Even on such a large tour (currently 20 shows down, 25 in all), it's a commendable feat.

Onwards and upwards with the song selection. Loving it.

If anyone desires a list (sans Piano solo and Star Spangled Banner, of course...), I'll be happy to share what I've come up with.

Very cool stat. I think when people look back at Furthur this tour will be seen as a pivotal moment in the band's development.

I'm not a betting man, but if I was, I'd say it'll be (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction or Man Smart (Woman Smarter)

The ten most recently played songs that haven't been played on this tour are as follows:

(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction: Last played 2/13/11
C.C. Rider: LP 2/13/11
Man Smart (Woman Smarter): LP 2/13/11
Any Road: LP 12/30/10
Welcome To The Dance: LP 12/30/10
Celebration: LP 11/16/10
Get Back: LP 11/13/10
When I Paint My Masterpiece: LP 11/9/10
Maggie's Farm: LP 11/8/10
Deep Elem Blues: LP 9/24/10

I'm still waiting for the Brother Esau breakout. That would make an excellent addition to their repertoire. I always liked it. : )
