The opener was Shakedown Street it was absolutely appropriate, funky, and perfect. It was a half moon too , making it just that much nicer. I just looked at the dead hour setlist and am confused ...What show did i hear last night? I only heard Shakedown and the beginning drum beat of Samson & D.

The Grateful Dead Hour with David Gans last night on gdradio (show #1,202) started with Iko Iko, Little Red Rooster, Bertha...... and he played the whole first set from 5/7/89 ..... maybe you heard a rerun somewhere, somehow ?

Merriweather post pavillion MD

It was pretty ahead of its time for an 85 show....spot on and disco but funky too...spot on...sounded like a very late 80's...I'm impressed !!

Philadelphia 88.5 played this last night for some odd reason...it was a half moon afterall...
give a listen...
