Has anyone seen Railroad Earth?

They're playing a free show at the St. Pete Folkfest next weekend. I might go depending on what the weather is like and how lazy I am that day. I have Elko and I like the song Long Way To Go, but that's pretty much all I know of them.

Best band going today in my opinion (although Greensky Bluegrass is close). Go. You'll be glad you did.

They're pretty good. Upbeat bluegrass/jam band kinda thing. Very talented musicians. You'll enjoy it.
I can't come down, it's plain to see.
I can't come down, I've been set free.
Who you are, and what you do,
don't make no difference to me.

I saw them at Gratefulfest last year. Really good crowd pleasing live experience.
I wish I was the headlight on a northbound train.

They are good. Have you checked out Mumford + Sons?

Thinking the same thing, I'm gonna see em Halloween weekend when they play with 7 Walkers, The Funky Meters, JGB and so much more. They are actually supposed to do a live score for the film Nosfaratu over the weekend which sounds like it would be epic. I have listened to their shows on archive but haven't got into em too much, but as usual once I see a band throw down a live show it somehow makes all their previous recordings come to life for me i.e Yonder Mountain, Umphreys, Phish (these last 2 I can only see live, I can't get into their recorded shows or albums for the life of me).
