Some other good things to have in your vehicle
-big jugs of water - for a cheap alternative to coolant but you can't let it freeze, so coolant isn't a bad idea in the winter, at least some to mix with the water
-metal clothes hangers - to unwrap and be able to hold up a fallen exhaust ect....
-a small basic socket kit, a couple adjustable wrenches, screw drivers
-spare belts and hoses along with spare clamps
-RTV - will dry overnight even though it says 24 hour full cure
-a manual for your vehicle should be a must have in your vehicle anyway, even if not on tour
-make sure your jacks work and you know where to place the jack (otherwise your spare tire wont help
-don't smoke pot when your driving, you could always get pulled over for something completly out of your control, no matter
how "good you can drive when your stoned" -- like a light blowing out when your driving or an accident that is beyond your control.
-it wont hurt to have extra fluid - oil, brake fluid, tranny fluid - make sure your wiper fluid is full before you leave - brake/carb cleaner - rags - gojo
all this stuff is especially important with an older vehicle like mine
safe travels everyone
