I have one of the newer Wegmans right down the street. But no taps. That would be cool. They do have a great selection though.
I can't come down, it's plain to see.

Got a fresh batch of butter beer in the works and a variety pack of heavy seas in the fridge and some sierra nevada in the fridge too. Not supposed to drink with broken ankle meds.
Please tell Governor Christie of NJ to open the records

MsJimp, Sierra put out an absolutely delightful Summerfest ale this year. Light, clean but very flavorful. Unfortunately, it was apparently a small batch and sold out before I was able to buy another six (or better yet, a case).

And wlewis, Long Trail's Hibernator was my great discovery over the winter.

My favorite beer is usually the one I am currently drinking...

Lately have a fondness for Oakshire amber - kind of tired of IPAs.
Went to a Belgian Beer place in Denver while at Red Rocks shows - the something Monk - good beers but they actually had ones that were $44 for A beer and not even a pint!

Agreed....but Paulaner makes a nice Oktoberfest also....

My favorite beer though by far is Paulaner Original M√ľnchner....difficult to find where I live but I enjoyed it all the time while I lived in Germany..

Here I tend to get beers from Stone most often, since they are local and tasty....

does anyone else notice and not enjoy the trend of American craft beers getting stronger and stronger? I picked up a bottle of Brother David's Ale the other day to try it out and saw when I opened it that it was 9.0%.....

Almost all great German beers hover around the 5% mark....

That's how it stands today. You decide if he was wise.

I like Spaten's Oktoberfest best, though I'm interested in any seasonal brews during this time of year.

And yes, I have noticed that American brews are getting stronger. Flying Dog's Raging Bitch is almost 10% ABV and I just noticed a Christmas ale called Rude Elf Reserve that's over 10%. And check out all the varieties by Heavy Seas. Even their Uber Pils is 7.5%. Whoa.
