One More Bobby Thread

#55205 3 years, 1 month ago
Listening to his playing with Furthur and his various other projects he's been working with lately, including his solo stuff ( which is awesome) I have come to a conclusion. I don't know if people will agree with me or not, but i believe this...

BOB WEIR IS BETTER NOW THAN HE EVER HAS BEEN.

(thats not to say he hasn't always been a standup musicain)

If you think about it, Bob is really the true road warrior of all of them. He never took a break from touring. Ratdog played the night Jerry died, and they toured constantly up until Furthur got going. Phil took some years off between Jerry's death and his liver transplant, then hit the road hard. Mickey and Bill have only toured here and there. Bob Weir has probably played more live shows than just about anyone else in the history of rock and roll.
