Yup. Even had a magic flute. Lol. And I remember Sigmund and the Seamonsters too. Great stuff

If you can admit to HR Puffenstuff (I can probably still sing the damn opening song)...

I used to love watching Sesame Street and then right afterwards Mister Rogers

Guess this dates me a bit too, favorite tv shows used to be the Flintstones and Dastardly and Mutley. They've both been off the air for probably 30 years. I can still remember most of the Flintstones episodes. Oh, and of course Mel Blanc (sp) Bugs bunny, Daffy Duck...I thought I saw a puddy cad....

Yep remember all that. How about the Banana Splits Club?

Lidsville theme below (haven't seen this in 30 plus years at least).

I think it was "puddy tat". Yeah, I loved all of that stuff. Bugs Bunny, Roadrunner, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd. Made my saturday
mornings awesome! Here's a compilation vid of some great bits.

What a trip that clip was. I do not remember that show at all. I remember the banana splits and Sigmund and the sea monsters. This really needs it's own thread.

Ok, more confessions, mom let me stay up late to watch the Brady Bunch, and I also loved the Partridge Family. And maybe Gilligan's Island was my favorite at some point. Not a big Jetson's fan, but I've probably watched them all.

But the best TV show I ever saw had to be "Get Smart"

So funny, Ricka Racka Fire Cracker Ziss Boom Bah, Bugs Bunny Bugs Bunny Rah Rah Rah... I still say that to my daughter today, she just gives me the look 13 year old girls give their dads (that wtf - you are weird look).

I wonder if the Harlem globetrotters borrowed their bit from that Bugs Bunny bit or Vica Versa. I think I remember a different bugs bunny cartoon with the globetrotters (Meadowlark and Curley Neil +) ... or was it the globetrotter cartoons.

Real cartoons, like Bugs and the Roadrunners and later on Scooby Doo, were always my favorites over the live action shows on Saturday mornings. They were a good follow-up to that hot Friday night line up of Brady Bunch, Partridge Family, Odd Couple and Love American Style. That was the best night of the week! : )

I think the Globetrotters did have their own cartoon for a while. After they had guest starred on so many others. Like Scooby Doo!

When I was a kid cartoons came on only on saturday morning which made for a 6 hour cartoon fest. Cartoons aren't what they use to be.
