San Francisco’s biggest free music festival
Hardly Strictly Bluegrass will take place Friday
September 30 through Sunday
October 2 at Speedway Meadow in Golden Gate Park. The initial lineup:

Wow that is a lot of bands! Plus more to be announced! Man if only I was in S.F. I want Moonalice to come back to Missouri. They are awesome! It's been too long I've last seen them. Thanks for sharing!

i'm always amazed at the superb lineup at HSBG... despite the A+ list of bands and the fact that it's 20 minutes from home i never go because it's just too jammed packed with people. BUT, i think this will be the year that i get over my "too many people" syndrome and go check it out.

Yeah the crowds pretty much kill it for me, Its bad when you can't even make it from stage to stage in time to see a band due to such heavy traffic. But as always they have some gems playing in the middle of this madness (MC Hammer?) that will prolly bring me out to the park for a nice sunny September day
