Nows that entertainment. It just puts a big smile on my face to hear some on Dan Healy's "Experiments in FM broadcast", from such notable venues such-as Frosty- Greek's, Pittsburgh Civic, Oxford Maine and some Hampton shows have recently rocked my world (and are on my wish list please, Mr Ganz.)
After hearing several of last summer's Furthur Tour 2010 on GDRadio, I was more than happy to choose to buy 6 shows (on plastic disc) that I thought had crushing sound. The Sherman Theater 7.5, Oxford Maine 7.4, It's All Good 7.9, Cisco Ottawa Blues Fest 7.7. And then Marcella and I visited NYC for our bite of the BIg App. and we took in two fun shows at the Nokia Theater. Bought those CD's too.
I'm know that the Radio City Music Hall's acoustics will make for a sweet sounding capture that is just as clear today as it was for acoustic Grateful Dead in '81.
Being a recent BM transplant survivor myself and not able to attend and mingle up close with the fans as I would like to do... GD Radio provides an affordable, (no-commitment) safe way of bringing out that good-vibe inside me that breaks thru all of the pain.
ThankYou David Ganz and staff. My friend Roman will be seeing you in Atlanta. And I'll be buying that Fox Theater show too. Cubby
