Jerry must be the most loved spirit by so many. I cant help thinking he hears all our thoughts of sorrow.
He is still so missed after all this time. Wow.

I have spent my life seeking all that's still unsung.
Bent my ear to hear the tune, and closed my eyes to see.
When there was no strings to play, you played to me.

play on Jerry I will always listen…
Everytime that wheel turn round
bound to cover just a little more ground

One of the CNBC anchors just acknowledged the anniversary, and then played Bertha going to a commerical. That was unexpected.

He would have been 69, but sadly for us he's still 53.

See here how everything leads up to this day
And it's just like any other day
That's ever been
Sun goin up and then
The Sun a goin down
Shine shine shine through my window
And my friends they come around
Come around
Come around

Thanks Sunshine Sue. Powerful songs. Must be goodsbump Tuesday So many roads is intense.

From Deadbase.com ... very fitting that the last show ended with that box of rain and then fireworks to the star spangled banner. Also touch of grey opening...Wow.. Only thing that would be more chilling would be if the encore was the weight. Could you imagine if Jerry's final line was "I got to go but my friends can stick around" (Darn goosebumps again - Jerry was larger than life).

07-09-95 Soldier Field, Chicago, Il. (Sun)
1: Touch*, Rooster*, Lazy River Road*, Masterpiece@*, Childhood's End*, Cumberland*, Promised*
2: Shakedown*, Samson*, So Many Roads*, Samba*, Corinna*> Drumz*> Unbroken Chain*> Sugar Magnolia* E: Black Muddy River*> Box Of Rain*
*final version last non-medly, two-song encore: 11-03-91 [271] - fireworks display set to Jimi Hendrix's "Star Spangled Banner" after the show - The Band opened
FFF! Family is Forever!!!

May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
