I haven't kept up with this band at all. I've been hearing some nice things and I'm curious to see where they're at.

Can someone please recommend a strong show to download from archive?

Is there some stand out night?

I'm particularly looking for a show with a lot of group improvisation.

the best I've seen so far has to be the "soundcheck" from the first night of Furthur Fest 5.28.10

I'll always have a soft spot for 7/5/10 set 1.

The three nights they did at broomfield are a good listen 2/11/12/13/11

From last summer both set one at Herkimer and set two at Stroudsburg were really good. Both shows we're pretty excellent IMO. But those two sets seem to stand out, IMO.

Phil's 70th Birthday show was a particularly excellent one with an All-Star cast:

I especially enjoyed Chris Robinson on some classic Pig Pen tunes.

I attended this one, first show for Furthur in MSG, NYC, and the NYC energy was front and center, and, acknowledged by the band:

Red Rocks 2nd night 9/25/10.

The Furthur fest rocked, from what I've heard. But this recent run was pretty good too.
The friday and saturday in particular. (Philly)

I will second 7/5 It was 110 degrees in there and the music was hotter than that!!!Both sets were stellar!!
