I too, have thought about this. While I'm not old enough to have seen Jerry and remember it (I was only 1 when he died.) I CAN tell you that I feel like he would love this.
He would want the boys to keep the message going. He has said that he wanted to tour and promote peace, and tour in peace. Furthur has brought together Bobby and Phil to make sweet music. Given, Mickey and Bill aren't in this band, but hopefully no hard feelings are spreading and both parties (Bobby&Phil and Mickey&Billy) are enjoying themselves like it's clear that they are.
The music STILL kicks ass.

I think 'ole Jerry would like everything about the continuation of his music except the idea that there are now different camps of fans .
