I bought a droid today.

It is a samsung galaxy induldge with a slide out keyboard and I was wondering if anyone could suggest some good apps? I have vibe vault and like it very much but this thing should do more than provide me with jackie greene music. I do LOVE the fact that I can listen to jge on it I just am hoping for more.
Please tell Governor Christie of NJ to open the records

You absolutely NEED audiogalaxy. It allows you to stream your entire music collection from your pc to your phone while taking up hardly any space. Only drawback is your computer must be on while using it.
Go Launcher EX is a great home replacement app
Wapedia is my favorite Wikipedia app
Twicca is my favorite Twitter app
Handcent SMS is in my opinion much better than the stock messaging app
Poynt can be a very useful app for finding people, places, etc.
App 2 SD is handy for saving some storage space
WeatherBug, self explanatory
xScope is my preferred browser
There's so many good apps, let me know if you're looking for anything specific

Edit: and thank you for recommending Vibe Vault, didn't know about this one

Thanks! I will check those out. I felt it was time to get one since Cricket has them now for 55 a month unlimited everything. No data calling or text restrictions on their phones. Mr J has had one for a while now and it is a pretty nifty gadget. He has one with a touchscreen only. Mine has a slide out keyboard and a larger screen. I am really digging this one. Thanks so much

it takes some time but you can find free porn for your droid, not that I would stoop so low for porn.

There is a app so you can put your iTunes on your phone, so you don't need your computer always hooked up

Samsung galaxy is a sweet phone. Im not familiar with cricket but galaxy phones for other carriers are awesome. I prefer android to iphones mainly because I like have a keypad too and iphones don't have them. Other reasons too but I don't want to piss off the iphone peeps, theyre rabid you know. The favorite thing about my phone is the free navigation. Makes gps obsolete. As far as apps, check out the flick my bic concert lighter lol. Someone here told me about it and I have actually been using it lol.

Yes but then you will have to physically store all your music files on your phone. This app streams the files from your computer to your phone.
