An old gramatical quiz, so simple yet so difficult

#44373 3 years ago
Can anybody add punctuation to make this a complete sentence or string of sentences? Should be real easy (and it's legit not a trick question)

That That Is Is That That Is Not Is Not

Note, I started every word in upper case, but there is no significance to this.

That, that is,is that. That, that is not,is not. Therefore if you remove the parts between the comma leaves you with that is that and that is not.

i'm confused as to what no significance to the capitalization means...because one person uses it, another doesn't....that is what makes this difficult..are they capitalized correctly?

disregard capitalization of letters. So far no correct answers. Hint, this will be 2 sentences.

then some of the letters would have to be capitalized...which means it can't be all of them, or none of them....

Sounds like Skidoo was right on, is there only 1 correct answer?

didn't hear about the restriction on quizzes

"That, That Is, Is." does not sound like a proper sentence to me. I am only aware of one answer, and it sounds correct when you hear / read it. Not saying there's not another correct answer, but Skidoo's sentences do not exactly flow off the tongue.
