I'm glad they played it too, but boy did it ever suck vocally. Worst vocals the whole tour.

I wasn't there, but I love the song and I'm glad they played it. I watched it on You Tube and I thought Bob did a great job of it. He sings the songs differently than Jerry did, because he's Bob, not Jerry. I always like his unique vocal approach. I understand why some people don't like him to sing differently than Jerry, but it's okay by me. He's a great rock and roll singer, in my opinion.

Yeh, I was able to hear that last night. Very Cool.

Let's not be to critical of the gifts.

We love you Bobby!!!!!

We must become ourselves before someone else does

Don't like to be critical, but the song- one of my favorites- just begs to be sung by John. It's not that I don't appreciate Bobby's efforts, but John is the natural choice, vocally, for that song, just as I wouldn't expect John to sing a song like Cassidy.

I was 17th row centre, less than 100 feet from Bobby when they busted out Mission, and I thought it was awesome! Got goosebumps, definitely the highlight of the 1st set.
I am sure if the rolls were reversed, and if unfortunately Bobby were no longer with us, and Jerry was (I WISH) still around, we would all complain about Jerry's renditions of : The Other One, Estimated Prophet, Sugar Mag, etc....I think you get my drift.

Well, after seeing Jerry sing it for many years, my fucking heard hurt after hearing Weir do it. Maybe you boys need to get your hearing checked.

No, just a difference of opinion is all it is. This is all subjective. We can all agree that we are fortunate to have the band on the road right now!

Maybe I just don't know what I am talking about, I will differ to someone that saw Jerry. (see I am just a young buck)

Sunshine Sue a little help here please....I will have to go back and re listen to it. It was a little late and I remember it being okay.

Sorry for the confusion.
